Coastal Charente-Maritime

Although our historic complex is located in the heart of the sunflower-strewn Nie Valley; many of the fabulous beaches of the Charente-Maritime can be reached in around one hour by car. The area is famous for its mussels and oysters and a visit to the sea farms of Marennes or the Isle D’Oleron can be well rewarded with a delicious lunch where the seafood is literally plucked out of the water and cooked while you wait.
